You’ve been asked to design a short training session to support managers to have meaningful conversations about supporting staff struggling with their mental health. You are looking for a video resource to help bring this topic to life and create engagement and discussion for your learners. You want a resource that you can a) use during a training session and b) would also work as a stand-alone resource for staff that can’t attend the session but need to complete the training.

In this video mental health first aider Robyn explains what mental health first aid is and how we can all play a vital role in supporting team members at work with their mental health. Two scenes show how easy it is for staff to check in with each other in non-intrusive and supportive ways if they notice that someone is struggling and demonstrate the power of simply asking how someone is.
